Truostray is a workplace collaboration platform: conversations, tasks, documents, approvals and meetings in one place, so work moves from being discussed to being done without falling between tools.
Why we built it
Modern teams communicate in one place, track tasks in another, keep documents in a third and handle approvals in a fourth — usually by email, usually with the file attached again. Nothing is missing. The joins are.
We watched the same purchase order exist in four places and be current in none of them, and watched the only person who knew where it stood go on leave. That is not a communication problem and another chat tool does not fix it.
So we built the thing that carries a conversation forward: the task it produced, the people who have to approve it, the decision they reached, the room it took to finish, and the record that any of it happened.

What we believe
Five principles, and what each one actually costs us. A principle nobody could fail is not one.
- 01Connected
A conversation should not be the end of the work. Everything raised from a message keeps the message, so the reason survives alongside the thing.
It is the reason the product is one workspace rather than five good tools. It is also the hardest thing to hold: every feature request arrives asking for a new place to put something, and the useful answer is usually to attach it to the thing it already belongs to.
- 02Simple
Powerful without ceremony. Nothing here makes you raise a request to talk to somebody, and a team that only ever wants channels is using it correctly.
A platform that only pays off once you have configured it is a platform most teams never see the point of. So chat works on day one with nothing set up, and the approval engine waits until you have a process worth moving.
- 03Transparent
People can see what is happening and where it has stopped. A request that is waiting on somebody says who, and an empty seat is a visible question rather than silence.
We hold ourselves to it as well as the product. The security page lists what Truostray does not do, beside what it does, and every capability claim on this site is checked against the code before it is published.
- 04Secure
Workplace information deserves protection, and the security page says what we do not protect as plainly as what we do.
A workspace holds salaries, identity numbers and decisions people will be held to. The separation between one organisation and another is enforced by a check that fails our build rather than by everybody remembering, because the alternative is a rule that lasts until the busiest week of the year.
- 05Built for teams
The org chart is underneath all of it. Work is addressed to a post rather than a person, so a transfer moves the authority and does not break the process.
Most workplace software models a company as a list of users. Real organisations have units, seats, reporting lines and people acting in a post for a month. Building on that from the start is why a reshuffle here is an update rather than a migration.
What we are honest about
We are early
Truostray is a young product with real users and a short history. We have not published pricing because it is not settled, and nobody has audited us from outside. Each of those is stated where it applies rather than left for you to discover.
We would rather lose a deal than win it on a claim
The security page lists what the product does not do. The features list was written by reading the code rather than the roadmap. If the answer to your question is no, you will get a no — the alternative costs more later, and costs it to you.
We build in two languages
Khmer and English, in one typeface, from the first commit — not as a translation layer added afterwards. Search works in either script, and the product knows that a building in Phnom Penh and a room in another timezone are different problems.
Where we are building
Truostray is built by Truos Tray / ត្រួសត្រាយ, based inPhnom Penh, Cambodia. The company’s details are on the terms page.
What we can say now: we build bilingually, we answer our own support, and there is no layer between the people who wrote the code and the people using it. That will change as the company grows, and we will say so when it does.
